Notes from the Staff Council April General Meeting 

Dr. Martín, UTD Chief of Staff, provided a few words regarding the letter from Dr. Benson on organizational changes impacting the Office of Campus Resources and Support.

• The polo sale: 128 polos were sold raising $3,200 for staff scholarship.

Staff Development  

Staff Council is hosting a week of events to show appreciation for staff April 23-25:

• Taco Tuesday: Join us Tuesday, April 23 at 10 a.m. while supplies last at the 2nd floor Founders Atrium for Taco Tuesday! We’ll have both meat and veggie options available.
• Wellness Wednesday: Grab your employee ID and head to the Activity Center Wednesday, April 24 for free exercise classes:
  • Yoga, 11:45 a.m. – 12:45p.m.
    Multipurpose Orange Room
  • Meditation, 12:45 – 1:15p.m.
    Multipurpose Orange Room
  • Spin N Lift, 5:15 –  6:15p.m.

  • Strength and HIIT, noon – 1p.m.

• Thursday Extravaganza: Join us for food, games and raffle prizes Thursday, April 25, 3-6 p.m. in the JSOM Executive Dining Hall. We encourage everyone to bring a donation for the Comet Cupboard.
