Representative Positions

Benefits-eligible staff members who have worked for the University for six consecutive months may be nominated to serve on the council as a representative. Anyone may nominate a candidate, or candidates
may self-nominate. Campus districts elect representatives to serve two-year terms. Once elected, representatives:

• Serve on one of four standing committees.
• May be selected to serve on university-wide committees.
• May run for the offices of president or vice president, which are elected annually by the council to
  serve one-year terms.

Donate

The goal of the Staff Council Scholarship Fund is to support staff members pursuing academic and vocational programs. Donate online, or consider participating in the following programs. 

Ink Recycling Program

Recycle your empty ink-jet printer cartridges in Staff Council recycling bins across campus. All proceeds from the program benefit the Staff Council Scholarship Fund. Recycling locations can be found here.

Staff Council Fundraisers

Contribute to annual fundraising activities to support the Staff Council Scholarship Fund.

Tom Thumb/Albertson’s Good Neighbor Program

Go to customer service to set-up your customer reward number to support the Staff Council Scholarship Fund (charity number 11202). The stores will donate a percentage of your purchases to the fund.

Nominate

The CARE Awards, which stand for Celebrate Achievement, Reward Excellence, recognize staff who have demonstrated superior performance, offered outstanding customer service, and performed acts that have enhanced the image of the University. Anyone can nominate a staff member for this award.
