President Richard C. Benson recently presented the Celebrate Achievement and Reward Excellence Awards — or CARE Awards — established by the Staff Council to honor staff members whose commitment to quality work serves the University's mission.
This spring's recipients are Ashley Bradberry (Department of Mechanical Engineering), Joy Camp (Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering), Suzanne Head (Office of Research), Carolyn Martin (Office of Development and Alumni Relations), Tamara McFarlen (Office of Budget and Finance) and Jamie Polizzi (Division of Enrollment Management).
Faculty, staff, students, visitors and community members may nominate staff for the honor. The deadline for the fall awards is Oct. 31.
