CARE Awards
Nominations due by March 31st
The CARE Awards (Celebrate Achievement, Reward Excellence), recognize Staff excellence, outstanding achievement and superior customer service that enhances the image of UTD.
Please let us know about your well-deserving colleagues!
Almost any staff member can be nominated.

Scholarships
The Staff Council scholarship application is temporarily closed, as we adjust the application fields. Any spring applications submitted are still fine. These changes will go into effect for the fall applications, which we expect to reopen in June.
Fundraising
UTD Staff polos are now available for sale! Order yours today!
UT Dallas’s Staff Council holds fundraisers throughout the year to raise money for Staff Scholarships. This Spring we are hosting a Polo Fundraiser! All profits from this sale go to the Staff Council Scholarship Fund. Staff from across campus are able to apply for this scholarship annually, and we would not be able to provide so many scholarships if it weren’t for fundraisers like these!
All Polos will be available through the link below. We have sizes S – 3XL in both black and green. Individual polos are $25 each. Ordering will be available through March 27th, and pick up will be available through March 29th. Pick up will be on campus, and you will be able to coordinate your pickup/delivery with a Staff Council representative once you order.

Communications
The Communications Committee has been enhancing our social media presence and has recently made updates to our Instagram account! We’re now seeking volunteers to participate in an Instagram takeover to showcase a day in your life at UTD. Interested? Simply fill out the Staff Council Day in the Life Sign-up form and select the date that suits you best. We’ll confirm the date via email and address any queries you may have.
Did you Know?
There is a way to search for UTD jobs that are posted for internal applicants only! Log-in with your UTD credentials and open the Search Internal Jobs tab to see these postings. If you receive a SSO log-in error, reach out to your Employment Specialist to update your system log-in.
Guest Speaker
The Office of Campus Resources and Support & the Office of Undergraduate Education presented the findings from two university-wide student surveys, the “Your Needs Survey” and the “Your Experience Survey,” conducted in Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 respectively.
